Transform Lives and Legacies at Indian Bible College

A Legacy of Faithful Service
Since its founding in 1958, Indian Bible College (IBC) has been dedicated to equipping Native American believers for impactful Christian leadership. Located in north-central Arizona, near the largest Native American reservation in the United States, IBC has celebrated the graduation of over 220 students.

Many alumni are faithfully serving the Lord, embodying the college’s mission to transform lives and legacies for Native Americans.

Training for Legacy Change
At IBC, education goes beyond academics. It’s about becoming a stronger believer and a catalyst for hope among Native communities. Changing a legacy starts with personal transformation—a renewal of the mind, as the Apostle Paul describes in Romans 12:2. This foundational change equips students to address the despair and hopelessness often found in Native communities with the message of Christ.

The staff at IBC are deeply committed to this mission. Their goal is not merely to impart knowledge but to disciple students into Christlikeness. As they often say, they are not after “filled heads” but “changed lives.” This focus on personal and spiritual transformation is central to the training offered at Indian Bible College.

A Unique Mission for Native America
IBC is one of the few institutions uniquely dedicated to training Native Americans for Christian leadership. This mission is evident in the college’s approach to education, which emphasizes cultural sensitivity and grace.

The staff works tirelessly to address the distinctive needs of Native students, understanding the diverse experiences and cultural contexts they bring to the table.

The goal is clear: “a high standard with a unique application of grace.” The college continuously evaluates and refines its curriculum to ensure it meets the needs of its students. While the diversity of experiences and cultures presents challenges, IBC firmly believes in the unifying power of Christ within the church.

This belief makes the effort not only worthwhile but essential.

The centrality of Christ and Commitment to Students
At IBC, Christ is the unifying force that binds diverse cultures together. The staff’s dedication to their students goes beyond academic success—they desire to see each individual grow into the person God has called them to be.

This commitment is foundational to the transformative experience at Indian Bible College.
