Oktoberfest 2024
The Munds Park Community Church hosted its much-anticipated Oktoberfest celebration on Friday, September 27th, and it was a fantastic evening filled with joy, great food, and a wonderful sense of fellowship. This annual event has become a cherished tradition in our community with nearly 200 people attending, and this year did not disappoint.
The festivities kicked off at 4 PM in the church parking lot, where neighbors gathered and friends from all over Munds Park came together to enjoy the delightful ambiance of a warm fall evening. The smell of hearty, sizzling bratwursts filled the air as everyone lined up for a true Oktoberfest feast. The combination of authentic dishes and friendly conversation made it the perfect evening for food lovers and community enthusiasts alike.
For those who attended, the highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the camaraderie that flourished throughout the event. Neighbors gathered around the fire pit for smores and caught up on each other’s lives. The games added another layer of fun for the kids and adults, with laughter ringing out across the parking lot as people of all ages participated in friendly competitions.
The event was well-organized, ensuring that there was something for everyone to enjoy, from the youngest members of the community to the older generations who have seen this celebration grow over the years.
